Passengers on our tours today had some extraordinary viewing opportunities of the A42s. On the morning tour they enjoyed observing the orcas interacting with one another playfully where tail slapping and spy-hopping behaviour was seen. They also saw the Humpback Whale 'Ridge' lunge feeding.
On the afternoon tour we found the A42s nearby and foraging, surrounded by dolphins! It was fantastic viewing and their A-Clan vocals were beautiful to listen to via our hydrophone! We observed Freckles, a Humpback Whale and then a Stellar Sea Lion eating a fish on the surface of the water. Finally, we watched as a large Lion's mane jellyfish floated by. It was a gorgeous and sunny day and the sea was very calm! How lucky were we to enjoy such a day!
